It’s lower impact than running so there’s reduced risk of injury.
Spinning is lower impact, so it puts less stress on your body than pounding the pavements during a run. With less impact, you’re less likely to get injured. So, if you have a niggle or a running overuse injury, doing a spin class will give you a good workout with reduced risk of further injury.
